  We had a lovely meal tonight on my birthday. Lobster bisque was gorgeous. Chicken supreme was wonderful with a gorgeous sauce. Sticky toffee pudding wasn't the best I have had but was tasty. All in all a lovely meal. This was the first time we had been to this restaurant and will definitely be back. Nice friendly and attentive waitresses.It was nice to sit at the window and watch sea.The only thing that I didn't like was the loud music..Why?

  Awful customer service this evening. Asked if they could do a half portion of the haddock & chips - was told 'yes' . Perfect. Plate arrived with half fish in batter, chips and fritter - alas no mushy peas. I asked the server if I could have mushy peas (it was on the menu for the full portion). When we got the bill, little did I know that you are charged £2.80 for the privilege of peas, on top of the £10.20 (half portion price) so that's a combined total of £13. Would you believe the full portion which includes mushy peas comes in at a very competitive £12.90!!!!! Where is the logic in that? I challenged the manager when paying, explaining the odd pricing - he said the half portion is only a lunchtime special and doesn't include mushy peas (no-one told me this and we were eating at 6.30pm) and thought as a good customer service gesture he might have removed the cost of the mushy peas. Eh no! He did however offer to put through a full portion at £12.90 and save me the 10p... crazy, clueless and quite simply - unbelievably laughable.
